Have you ever been to a party that has been labeled as something like this:

“It’s going to be huge! Dude, it’ll be amazing! 200-plus people with too many kegs to count! It’s not like you can’t come man…everyone is coming!”

Then of course you get there and it’s flooded with people you don’t know who are clearly drunk because they are spouting complete nonsense to anyone they can grab ahold of long enough to start rambling. So, you have two choices: 1)drink up and start your rant or 2)leave the party sober and then the next day have no idea what anyone is talking about because you weren’t there to witness it.

THAT, my friends, is how I feel about the current state of the network of social sites bombarding me with invites to these great keggers, but when I sign up and look around I just get let down because I either missed that funny fall or I just don’t know anyone around.

I don’t see any sign of this social site virus slowing down, but I do some that are ahead of the pack.

Just not ahead enough.

What are we going to do about this madness?
